Virgin Voyagers: An Adult’s Only Cruise Adventure

“I don’t like cruises”.

Yeah, I hear it. Ever since I’ve come back from my amazing vacation, I’ve talked to people who have told me they’re not for them. They’ve heard the food is mixed, the entertainment bad, the boat too rocky, the space too cramped, and everything too old, it’s just not for sure.

Ah, my friends, I hear you and I can’t speak for all other cruises. But my god, I mean, my god… Virgin Voyages.

We went on The Valiant Lady, Virgin’s latest cruise ship and I’ll take, everything above could not have been farther from the truth of what we saw. This beautiful boat was Instagrammable from top to bottom, it was big, fun, bright, colorful and oh, the food. The food. Twenty-plus different restaurants were located all over the ship, which were all different from each other and different.

Plus, it was adults only. Adults. Only. I can’t explain how nice this was, from the freedom on the ship, to the evening entertainment (R-rated for sure and, with a ship sexologist on board, a little bit more than that) to the names of the restaurant, including Lick Me Till Ice Cream. Oh my.

Honestly, I’m not even doing a good enough job explaining. Here’s a video about the five most surprising things I discovered on board the ship.
