Sweet News: London Has It’s First Milk And Cookies Pop-Up!

img_4615You know what are incredible? Cookies are incredible.

You know what’s even more incredible? Cookies and milk. Cookies and milk are incredible.

You know what’s even even more incredible? The fact that London has never had a cookies and milk pop-up. That is incredible and makes us all very sad… until now.

Yesterday, catering company Blondie’s Kitchen opened the first cookies and milk pop-up in London  It’s a small unassuming but incredibly delicious stand right in Old Street Station. You might have even walked by it if you were travelling through on Monday. But if you’re going to go that way again, stop, eat, and love life again.

I did just that. And it was perfect. Honestly, I don’t believe there is a combo quite like cookies and milk, or at least one that makes you so happy so instantaneously. Maybe whisky and more whisky, but that’s about it.

Sure, other places do cookies, but it’s that dedication to the cookies and the milk that makes this spot shine. Blondie’s are doing a variety of different cookies and even milk flavours (including Coco Pops Cereal Milk! What!) and honestly, everything I saw and tasted was delicious.

But if I was going to go for one again, I would do the Crunchy Moose Sandwich, which is two cookies sandwiched with chocolate honeycomb mousse. My god, the future is now.

ps. I even made a quick Snapchat story about it on the @YelpLondon snapchat. Give a watch!

THE GOOD: Everything. Why hasn’t London done a cookies and milk combo pop-up before? It’s so perfect.
THE BAD: The cookies are not cheap but worth it. They’re also only there for two weeks, so get there fast if you want to try the damn delicious combo.

ONE QUOTE FROM CO-FOUNDER, CHEF KRISTELLE LEVY:

“We want to bring back all those childhood memories when you had your milk and cookies as a kid.”

The Blondies Kitchen Milk and Cookie Pop-Up Bar will be located opposite the ticket barriers at Old Street tube station from 7am-7pm Monday to Saturday until October 29th.
