Doing Chicago’s Foodie Spots In Style

Chicago is arguably one of the top foodie destinations in the Midwest. When you consider the ever expanding food scene as well as the stand by classics that consistently deliver in terms of quality, taste, and overall experience, it’s quite easy to see why that is. Plus, we were just named the Top Restratunt City in the US by Bon Appétit Magazine!

There’s a little something for everybody to enjoy when it comes to dining in the Windy City. Whether you’re a vegan, someone looking for the highest quality steak house in Illinois, or simply looking for a new atmosphere to enjoy a cocktail at, there’s a spot in the city that’s calling your name. We’re here with some great suggestions for you to consider to elevate your next experience in Chicago.

Parachute

This sought after Korean-American restaurant in the Avondale area is hard to get into with only 40 seats, so be sure to call ahead of time! This is a critically acclaimed restaurant that doles out food from a past “Top Chef”, so you know it’s going to be an unforgettable experience. Don’t leave without trying the bing bread, mung bean pancake with pineapple butter, as well as the ddukbokki with pork.

Alinea

This avant garde restaurant has been boasted as one of the worlds best, and that’s quite the accomplishment. It’s more of an experience than a simple food destination! You have a choice of dining in the salon or gallery, and each experience is different. The downstairs area offers more courses and interactivity with your courses. They even have an edible dessert balloon here, and anybody who has dined here will be glad to tell you that it’s worth every penny, although it can be tricky to get a reservation.

Revival Food Hall

This is a great idea for those groups who don’t want to commit to a single restaurant. This is a sleek and contemporary take on a food court in the Loop neighborhood, and it features local restaurants such as Antique Taco, Aloha Poke, The Budlong, and Smoque BBQ. They serve food from 7AM to 7PM with the bar open until 9PM Monday through Friday.

Limo Bus Chicago

We partnered with Limo Bus Chicago for this post, as it’s a great way to turn your foodie experience into an adventure! With a limo or party bus along for the ride, you’re able to enjoy drinks with friends without worrying about ordering multiple Ubers at the end of the night. Plus, the transition from checking out one hot spot to the next is an easy one when you’re not the one worrying about traffic, directions, and parking. Do yourself a favor and make the investment in transportation for your next get together in the area.

Eat well and have a great food adventure!
